By attending four days a week, students become a more integral part of our community. Having a hard time deciding between 2 days and 4 days a week for preschool?
Here are some things to consider:
Two days a week is great for very young children and helps them transition into their new environment. After one semester, or sometimes even a few weeks, most children are ready to move to a four day school week. Young children typically do better when their school days are consecutive, rather than every other.
At Lehi Montessori students are part of a tight knit and caring community. The multi-age classroom spans three years and recreates a family structure. Older children enjoy stature as mentors and role models, while younger children feel supported and gain confidence about the opportunities ahead. When a student attends four days a week, they become a more integral part of our community. Their progression and learning advance rapidly as they attend school daily and build upon what they have learned the previous day. We highly recommend a four day school week whenever possible to help your child reach their fullest potential.
